01  Ideology

I came across a problem. No proper solution existed. Complaining was an option. Building was a better one.

Every app I’ve built began as friction I lived with — a loan I wanted to understand, a text I wanted to read in peace.

I look for the existing answer first. Usually it’s cluttered, ad-ridden, or quietly selling your data.

So I build the version I wanted: clear numbers, clean design, no ads, nothing collected.

A note on code

I’m not a software engineer, and I don’t pretend to be. I’m a finance professional who works with AI the way a director works with a crew — I set the brief, own the logic, audit every number, and refuse to ship until it’s right. Writing code is the easy part. Knowing what’s worth building, and when it’s truly finished, is not.

Every EMI calculator I found came wrapped in ads and loan offers. LoanLens just does the maths — instant EMI, principal-versus-interest charts, a full amortisation schedule and prepayment scenarios. Nothing leaves your phone.

All 700 shlokas across 18 chapters — Sanskrit, with Hindi and English translations. Fully offline, no subscriptions, a verse of the day on your Home Screen. Scripture shouldn’t come with pop-ups.
